purchased by current owner in February 2006 at 55,589 miles; ~3,082 total miles since restoration, garaged and covered;
never driven in rain or on damp roads, never wet-washed

Rich Kamp (2006): “This car was stripped to the bare shell and built up from there, with just
                                about every option you could want. Restored to a very high level.
                                I am a Lotus specialist and have had my Sprint since new. I know what is
                                stock and how to restore a car, even with all of these modifications, and
                                make it look very original. It is one of the nicest cars I have done. The car
                                needs nothing. It is immaculate and has all you would want in an Elan.”
